Hello! I'm an artist and designer and created my brand, hapticles® out of my love of exploring tactile materials and making tactile sculpture and jewellery. The tactile stimulation through certain surfaces that trigger positive emotions in us can have a positive effect on our wellbeing. This is the core concept of hapticles®.

I am now striving to make use of these benefits and design sculptures and jewellery with the haptic aspect in mind. These haptic properties both in form and texture can give us the little peaceful refuge from stressful moments or challenging situations.

When we tend to fidget to compensate stress, it can sometimes be distracting for the people around us. 

When we struggle to concentrate to complete a task, a uniquely shaped cool and smooth pendant that we can hold on to, or a customised desk sculpture can help us to refocus.

We are furthermore committed to work as sustainably as possible, incorporating plastics, recycling metals as best we can, repurposing glass, reducing the amount of cement in our concrete mixes and substitute cement with other materials such as ash or glass sand. Therefore, we continuously research methods and techniques to improve both our products and our environmental footprint. Going back to when we started out with polished concrete jewellery, it was the surplus of concrete that inspired us to make those 'mini sculptures" for you to wear in the first place.
